Shipping & Planning Executive

Responsibilities:

• Managing to ensure smooth operation of logistics and distribution system functions to deliver Customer Satisfaction/ Service Level at optimum cost.
• To monitor Supply Chain in inventory, procurement and logistic (Import and Export)
• Responsible on all purchasing activities including preparing P/O, follow through delivery from vendor price negotiation, price comparison, etc
• Responsible for shipping documentation preparation / handling.
• To manage suppliers in ensuring the cost competitiveness & review suppliers' performance.
• Work closely with supplier to meet the shipment schedule and to ensure on time goods delivery arrangement to customer
• May be needed to deal with banks with regards to Letter of credit documentation.
• Responsible in preparing all tax, custom documentation and handling all custom procedure (custom, MITI, MIDA)
• To ensure proper update and filing.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Purchasing, Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): Computer Literate, MS Office, Excel.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese.
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably possess own transport
